Knife Washi Cutter
Tired of using an old credit card to tear your washi? Tired of cutting through your pages with a scalpel? Why not use this KILLER way to tear your washi instead?!
Both sides of this acrylic knife can be used to tear washi, with the bottom half of the blade designed to be straight to allow for a straight tear on either side of the page you are sticking washi to.
DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a real knife. It is made from mirrored acrylic and is only designed to be a washi cutter.
This EXCLUSIVE Fox and Cactus acrylic washi cutter is the cutest way to tear your washi! Unlike our other washi cutters, this design does not have a corner hole as we wanted it to be able to be displayed as a cute mini knife when not being used.
The washi tape cutters do not have a blade or serrated edge, but the straight edge on the acrylic allows you to tear washi! We were able to get a clean tear line with every tape we tested, however some washi tapes that are more plastic-y and can be a bit trickier to tear (and in my experience even cut with a scalpel) so we recommend pulling these tapes tight and straight upwards for the best results.
Each washi cutter measures approximately 3.5" x 0.9" (8.9cm x 2.2cm) and is made from laser cut acrylic. Acrylic can warp in the heat so we recommend not leaving it in direct sunlight or leaving anything hot on top of it. The handle features hand painted grey buttons, take care when cleaning to avoid damaging the paint.
Product Care Instructions
We want to make sure your acrylic products stay safe and cute for as long as possible so we recommend following these care instructions:
- Although acrylic is very durable it can break when dropped or stepped on so we do recommend treating your acrylic items with care.
- If your washi stands or cutters require cleaning we recommend using a microfiber cloth to gently remove dust and fingerprints. Don't rub too hard on paint-filled areas as it may wear off the paint, and don't use any cleaning products or solvents as it can damage the acrylic.
- Acrylic can warp in heat so we recommend storing in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.

How does it work?
It's literally SO easy! 👀 The straight edge makes it possible to tear washi without the need of a blade. Either pull up in a quick motion (check the vid) for a quick snap or tear along the edge. Both ways work, it's really down to your own preference/vibes.
